Structure

The satellite is a cuboid made out of Al-6061 alloy. The LVI is IBL 230. The structure consists of 2 frames and 2 beams which can bear all launching loads of +/-11g longitudinal and +/-6g lateral and frequency requirement of >90 Hz in longitudinal and >45 Hz in lateral directions. The mainframe is 286×286×294 mm3 in dimension with the overall envelope of 572×341×385 mm3. The mass of the satellite is 10.8 kg with 3 solar panels and with a capacity of mounting 7 PCBs. The structure is designed as a standard nano satellite bus for future SRMSATs.
